Rene--

For the contest. So this is Tarine aka Rene.

She never knew her father (for reasons I won't reveal at the moment), and here she's just discovered a box full of newspaper clippings of "Danny Phantom", wondering why her mother keeps them around.

Bio: She's never really cared if she's the center of attention, or the furthest from it. She probably would have grown up very shy, but her mother insisted on "dragging her out of her shell". She's been to just about every social event in their neighborhood, but never really fit in. She has a few good friends, but is usually ignored by everyone else (sound familiar?), but unlike her parents, this suits her just fine. She doesn't really want a lot of friends, especially if they're fake. She doesn't want to let them down, so she doesn't often get close. She's very sarcastic, and usually a tad on the pessemistic side, although she does try to be posetive...it just doesn't work very often.

She is all about casual. She'll wear just about anything that's comfortable, which means half the stuf Valerie gets her never get worn. Still, she has a decent sense of style (or she would if she cared more) and likes to arrange things...almost to a point where she's obsessive compulsive.

She hates just about any music with a strong beat, because it gives her headaches. She doesn't particularly like classical or instrumental works either. More or less, she's not really into music, and will only listen to some obscure CD's of folk music or Christmas...which she listens to almost all year 'round (much to Valerie's annoyance).

BTW, yes she does have ghost powers, but only because both of her parents have ecto signatures, and she can't do everything a ghost can do, but can do other things most ghosts can't (she can't turn invisible, nor does she have ecto-blasts, but she can conjure weapons out of thin air). She can fly, but not very quickly; she can phase through things, but it also gives her headaches, so she doesn't like to, and she tries not to use her other ghost powers as well because she doesn't know what's up with them, how she got them, or how her mother will react if she found out. Basically, although she won't admit it, she's afraid.
