Description

Okay, I know the three girls have very little actual resemblance, but do you know how long I looked for photo reference? Probably a good 4-6 hours. Not kidding.

But yeah, it's supposed to be the same girl as in these two photos: [link] and [link]

Story: (From the first picture) The first thing that struck me about her wasn't the horse she lead (obviously composed of pure, contained energy) but her eyes--mainly their color. Purple and green aren't exactly normal for eye color...at least not in the humans I know.

I couldn't help but wonder as I later watched those eyes change color with her mood, what would happen if they ever turned black...

Unfortunately, we found out the hard way. If only they'd told us from the beginning, maybe we could have...No, I'm only fooling myself. There was nothing we really could have done that we didn't already do.

Apparently the whites of the eyes fade instead of the inner eye as was normal for her...and when that happens, the power controls her, not visa versa. Her natural talents become the natural truth that drive most of those born with her powers into a self imposed exile.

After all of this, I can't say as I blame them.

But it was when she finally snapped out of it that...well, black is not common for an eye color--whites or iris--on one of her kind...but no other color ever comes into play like black does.

That's why when she looked around and surveyed the aftermath of her actions that I think she lost what little mental stability she had retained. I don't know if she even really knew what she was doing, but the instant she saw me, her eyes faded back to black...and then further to blue...all blue.

I got up to chase her, but by the time I got to a point where I could reach her, she'd already frozen time in that small area. That's when I looked into those unmoving eyes. With her, blue meant pain.

I never want to see her eyes like that again, but she remains frozen in time at that spot to this day.

Now, I have to find someone who can help me break through the barrier she threw around herself...which means seeking out another of her kind.

And thanks to all of the amazing stock artists that helped me out with this one:
